Description
Reach brush with a compact excavator cutter designed around controlled positioning and hydraulic braking. The Virnig X20 Hydraulic Brake Brush Cutter uses three double-sided blades on a rounded flywheel, driven by an Eaton motor.
The compact deck and bolt-on hanger interface let you pair the cutter with the correct excavator connection. Motor and spindle guards protect the drive components, and optional side curtains improve debris containment. Match the cutter by actual over-side lift capacity and hydraulics, not machine weight alone.

Choosing Your Attachment
A shatterproof excavator cab is required. Hanger bracket is not included. Cutter operating weight is the selected cutter plus the actual compatible hanger and every selected option. The excavator lowest over-side lift capacity at maximum reach, in every applicable blade and boom orientation, must exceed that operating weight. Machine mass alone does not establish safe compatibility. Arrange a separately priced compatible hanger before use if you do not already have one. Recommended flow is 13-25 GPM at no more than 3,500 PSI. Virnig lists a 6,500-15,000-pound excavator mass range, subject to the actual lift-capacity check.
What's Included?
- X20 cutter with 90-inch, 3/4-inch hoses, hydraulic couplers, motor guard and spindle guard.
- Hanger bracket is not included. Optional curtains and installed carbide teeth only when selected.
- One curtain fits the left side; two curtains enclose both sides. Replacement tooth kits are separate from installed teeth.
