Product overview
Virnig V70 Open Front Rotary Brush Cutter
Description
Bring more cutting momentum to dense woody material with the Virnig V70 Open Front Rotary Brush Cutter. Four reversible blades work with a substantial seven-eighths-inch flywheel to carry energy through demanding cuts.
The reinforced deck uses wide structural channels and replaceable runners to support repeated clearing work. Motor options accommodate different hydraulic systems, while optional factory carbide teeth add another way to process material. Choose the width and motor to suit the loader, not just the largest configuration available.
Features
- Motor and spindle guards and pressure relief help protect hydraulic and drivetrain components.
- The rounded flywheel is designed to glance off obstructions and distribute cutting energy.
- Replaceable front skid shoes support ground-level cutting and travel over uneven ground.
- Four reversible blades provide more cuts per revolution, with up to 52 inches of active sharpened edge.
- A 7/8-inch-thick flywheel stores cutting momentum for sustained work in dense material.
- Wide structural deck channels help resist loading while shedding material and simplifying cleaning.
- Replaceable deck runners and tapered rear corners support serviceability and material flow.
- Hydraulic braking is specified to stop the flywheel within 25 seconds; a lift-limit chain is included.
- Optional factory carbide teeth help process material and grind small stumps; replacement tooth kits are a different offer.
Choosing Your Attachment
Do not operate without a shatterproof cab on the loader. Match the universal skid steer quick-attach interface, actual auxiliary flow, operating pressure and loader capacity to the selected motor. Virnig requires loader operating capacity greater than 2,800 pounds, calculated at 50 percent of tipping load, even if the machine publishes a 35-percent rating. Never exceed the selected motor's flow limit or pressure rating (3,500 PSI standard flow; 4,100 PSI high flow; 4,500 PSI high pressure). Reducing engine RPM does not make an oversized hydraulic system compatible. Choose a cutting width that covers the loader's tires or tracks. Follow the operator manual and all operating-area safety requirements. Every motor package requires a case drain. Installed carbide-tooth quantity is matched to the selected width.
Blade Service
Replace cutter blades as a complete matched kit rather than mixing individual replacement blades. Read and follow the operator manual before operation.
What's Included?
- V70 open-front cutter with four blades, couplers, case drain and lift-limit chain.
- Standard- and high-flow packages use 3/4-inch hoses; high-pressure packages use 1-inch hoses.
- Factory carbide teeth only when selected. The optional pressure gauge is separate. No electrical controller is required.
