Product overview
Virnig V50 Big Square Bale Spear
Description
Handle larger square-bale jobs with a wider frame than the standard V50 Square Bale Spear.
The 71.8-inch-wide Big Square frame carries your choice of 32- or 39-inch Conus 1 spears. Its current-generation layout allows access around the spear mounts for maintenance and replacement.
Features
- 71.8-inch overall frame width.
- Choice of 32- or 39-inch Conus 1 spears.
- Replaceable spears with accessible mounting points.
- Conus spear connections use tapered, reinforced sleeves.
- Universal skid steer quick attach mounting.
Choosing Your Setup
Choose either the separately sold EK24 24-inch extension or the complete EK60 extension with 48- or 60-inch additional height. Do not add both complete extensions. The EKU60 is only a conversion kit for owners of an existing EK24, not a complete extension.
Spear length names are nominal supplier sizes. Check the specifications for usable spear lengths and attachment dimensions.
Loader Compatibility
The attachment is rated for 5,000 lb with the bale against the frame. That does not increase your loader's lifting capacity. Keep the combined weight of the attachment, any extension and the bales within the machine's operating limits.
This frame uses universal skid steer quick attach mounting, not a mini skid steer or excavator interface.
What's Included?
- One Virnig V50 Big Square Bale Spear frame with skid steer mounting.
- The selected 32- or 39-inch Conus 1 spears for the V50 Big Square frame.
Extensions are sold separately. Photos may show an optional extension or a different spear length.
