Product overview
Virnig V40 Skid Steer Root Rake Grapple
Description
Rake brush together, work around roots and load the cleanup pile with the Virnig V40 Root Rake Grapple. Its compact rake body and hydraulic jaw are designed for smaller skid steers and track loaders that need more than a plain bucket for clearing work.
Replaceable cast teeth handle the contact with soil and debris, while the large jaw opening makes room for bulky material. NitroSteel rods and coated pivot bushings support the grapple as it moves through repeated gathering and loading cycles.
Features
- Replaceable cast teeth.
- 3/8-inch Grade 50 steel tines.
- 44.1-inch jaw opening.
- Two cylinders operating a single grapple jaw.
- NitroSteel cylinder rods and coated pivot bushings.

Check Loader Clearance Before Ordering
Virnig identifies clearance issues for the 60- and 66-inch models on Takeuchi TL6, TL8, TL10 and TL12 loaders, and for the 72-inch model on TL12. All widths have a listed clearance issue on John Deere 330G, 331G, 332G and 333G.
Confirm the fit of your exact machine. Virnig positions this series for loaders below 2,200 lb operating capacity; the attachment and handled material must remain within the loader limits.
