Description

Open up overgrown areas with a cutter that lets brush enter the front of the deck. The Virnig V40 Open Front Rotary Brush Cutter combines three double-sided blades with a rounded flywheel for clearing brush and small woody growth.

Replaceable front skid shoes and tapered runners help the deck travel over uneven ground. A direct-drive Eaton motor, protected spindle and hydraulic braking support the cutting system. Choose your width and actual hydraulic motor range separately so the attachment fits the loader as well as the job.

Choosing Your Attachment

Do not operate without a shatterproof cab on the loader. Match the universal skid steer quick-attach interface, hydraulic flow, operating pressure and loader capacity to the selected configuration. The loader's operating capacity must be less than 4,200 pounds when calculated as 50 percent of tipping load, even if the machine publishes a 35-percent rating. Never exceed the selected motor's flow limit or 3,500 PSI; reducing engine speed is not an acceptable workaround for an oversized hydraulic system. Choose a cutting width that covers the loader's tires or tracks. Both high-flow motor packages require a case-drain connection.

Blade Service

Replace cutter blades as a complete matched kit rather than mixing individual replacement blades. Read and follow the operator manual before operation.
