Virnig V40 Closed Front Rotary Brush Cutter
Description
Keep grass and brush under control with the Virnig V40 Closed Front Rotary Brush Cutter. Three updraft blades lift and process material beneath a closed-front deck for a maintained cut.
A direct-drive Eaton motor turns a rounded flywheel, while replaceable front shoes and tapered rear runners help the deck move across uneven ground. The front chain curtain helps contain debris, and hydraulic braking brings the cutting assembly to a stop between passes. Proper operator protection is still required.

Choosing Your Attachment
Do not operate without a shatterproof cab on the loader. Match the universal skid steer quick-attach interface, actual auxiliary flow, operating pressure and loader capacity to the selected motor. Virnig requires loader operating capacity less than 4,200 pounds, calculated at 50 percent of tipping load, even if the machine publishes a 35-percent rating. Never exceed the selected motor's flow limit or pressure rating (3,500 PSI for all motor packages). Reducing engine RPM does not make an oversized hydraulic system compatible. Choose a cutting width that covers the loader's tires or tracks. Follow the operator manual and all operating-area safety requirements. Both high-flow packages require a case-drain connection.
Blade Service
Replace cutter blades as a complete matched kit rather than mixing individual replacement blades. Read and follow the operator manual before operation.
