Meet Minh Do!

What brings you to Skid Steer Solutions?

As a recent graduate of Western Washington University with a degree in marketing, I wanted to find a role where I could continue to build on my skills in the marketing area. When I saw online that Skid Steer Solutions had a digital marketing job posting I applied immediately, and here I am now.

What do you hope to achieve here?

Learning more about the Skid Steer Attachment industry to continue learning how the industry works. Photo and video editing is a skill I want to learn at Skid Steer Solutions - since customers are purchasing equipment online I want to provide them with the best images and videos to make their online experience fantastic.

What excites you about working in marketing?

Web analytics is an area of digital marketing that is extremely fascinating to me; with this data one can learn customer’s shopping habits and create personalized marketing plans for each segment of customers to help increase conversion rates.

What is something about yourself that would surprise others?

I love to cook - I cook most of my meals at home. My speciality would probably be my beef fried rice.

Who would win in a fight - a Grizzly Bear or an African Lion?

Grizzly bear. They have bigger paws and they won't go down without a fight.

Meet Anthony Michaels!

What brings you to Skid Steer Solutions?

I recently moved from Seattle up to Bellingham to live with my girlfriend, and immediately started looking for fulfilling roles in the marketing space. My last role was in marketing as well, so continuing to learn new skills with a promising eCommerce business was right up my alley. 

What do you hope to achieve here?

I'd like to add value to Skid Steer Solutions by bringing my go-getter attitude to the business - I like to set goals and crush them, and there is no shortage of opportunity here. Without getting into confidential details, there are very concrete sales goals I'd love to see realized (by way of effective digital marketing) in 2019. 

What excites you about working in marketing?

The science behind where people shop online, what they buy, what they don't, and what increases sales is fascinating to me. It's a lot more analytical than some people might think, and experimenting with different strategies to find out what works best is a fun challenge. 

What is something about yourself that would surprise others?

I hope to climb Mt. Everest someday! So far, I've climbed 7 serious mountains, with the tallest being a 20,310ft peak in the Nepalese Himalaya. 

Who would win in a fight - a Grizzly Bear or an African Lion?

I'm going with African Lion. It's fast so it can tire out the Grizzly and then strike.
