Check Out Special Winter Attachments
Posted by Jimmy Vue on 5th Mar 2024
The weather this winter has been unpredictable to say the least. Starting off the year with winter storms nationwide has not been ideal for us here at Skid Steer Solutions. We understand the necessity of fast shipping to combat the harsh conditions of snowstorms, ice, and other hazards. However, due to unsafe conditions, shipping to various regions throughout the nation has been delayed. In this blog, we’ll quickly discuss shipping delays of our products, road and shipping conditions, and showcase some of the best attachments to deal with winter weather.
Over the past few days, it has become increasingly clear that we cannot ship every product out on time. With shipping routes having harsh conditions, the safety of our team members and shipping carriers is a top priority. However, our fulfillment team is working hard to ensure our products ship out as soon as possible. Especially snow removal products.
Products within our quick ship program have been delayed anywhere from 1 to 5 days. This category includes products like buckets, grapple rakes, pallet forks, concrete mixers, brush cutters, and more. Unfortunately, products with longer lead times will have even bigger delays. The impacted shipping carriers include our freight carriers, and many other ground carriers as well. Delays are even occurring at the local shipping level from our main facility in Cleveland, Tennessee.
In light of winter storms delaying shipping, our team has highlighted some attachments that are best used to help you combat snow and icy conditions. We'll continue to work hard, and ensure fastest shipping on these items and get you back to work.
Stay Safe during Winter, Get Some Traction
In the winter months, tire studs provide skid steer operators with optimal grip when navigating snowy, icy, and wet conditions. Better traction not only keeps operators safe but, boosts the overall efficiency during winter operations. Check out our Eterra and INS Traction tire studs.
Tire chains are another great way to get better traction in wet, slushy weather. You can find chains in various density and link sizes to fit your specific needs. For maximum traction, opt for higher density and lower links. Check out the 2 -Link and 4-LinkSkid Steer Tire Chains.
